Michael Aten, who is a father of two and works as an aviation engineer in the southern part of California, is well known in aviation circles for his wonderful drawings which are held in various private collections around the world. His work is also displayed at the Commemorative Air Force Museum at Gillespie Field Airport in El Cajon, California.

He also is the author of our book "Fokker E.III - In Detail" for which this drawing served as a background.
